Hotel Shree Muskan Palace

We booked through the Make My Trip app, and the process was smooth. The hotel was just a walk from the railway station, which made it easy to reach our room and rest. The room service was very good, and the staff’s kind behavior and service made our trip more comfortable. We had to ask for the room to be cleaned each day, but they would clean it when asked. The rooms were spacious, the washrooms hygienic, and food service quick. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. It was a comfortable, budget-friendly stay, with a clean, well-maintained hotel just a few minutes from Mahakaleshwar Temple. My time in Ujjain was wonderful.

The location worked perfectly for exploring near mahakal and the railway station. Staff were very cooperative, the rooms had good facilities, and the food was good too.

The room was dirty, with cigarette ash everywhere and a bedsheet in terrible, nearly black condition. We had to wait an hour for the room even though they’d said it would be ready in just ten minutes. Bath water was terrible, black with what looked like coal mixed in. When I complained, they said they bathed in the same water. We’d paid in full, and clean bath water is a basic need, especially when visiting a temple, where we bathe before going. The bucket was full of black coal and wood particles from the water, and the so-called hot water was barely hot. There was no wifi, not a single water bottle for anyone, no blankets, towels or toiletries. Hote shree muskan palace is full of false promises and a terrible place for anyone looking for basic cleanliness and necessities.
