Hotel O Nirvikalpa

This complaint is about OYO, not Nirvikalpa. OYO had confirmed a room for our driver, but when he arrived, the person there said they had told OYO three months earlier that no rooms were available for those dates. We had booked just a couple of weeks before. When we called OYO, there was no response.

I stayed in the last week of Dec 2023, and the bathroom water had a horrible smell. It didn’t even seem like normal fresh water, almost like STP water for bathing. The place was the worst experience, please don’t book it.

The staff were a bit helpful, but that didn’t make up for how bad the property itself was. I would never return, even for a free room. We were given a deluxe room on the 2nd floor. Cockroaches were already running around, and there were many more in the bathroom. The floor was stained, and the mirror was so bad I couldn’t see myself in it. We looked at another room, but it had even more cockroaches, so we stayed in the first one for our two nights, figuring we’d be out both days. At night, I kept getting bitten and thought they were mosquitoes. I woke up, turned on the lights and found bedbugs all over the bed. Completely unacceptable and unhygienic. By far the worst hotel room I’ve stayed in.

The room had enough space, but it was poorly maintained and not properly cleaned. The bedsheets were stained and unwashed, and the bathroom was especially unsanitary, with dirt and grime. The cleanliness was below an acceptable standard.
