If you're planning a morning tiger safari, I'd avoid staying here. My experience went badly. The staff didn't speak English, apparently had no phone, and although they said they'd arrange a cab, the driver didn't answer calls. I ended up late for the safari and had to take a tuk tuk from the railway station. I guess you get what you pay for. They also brought me tap water, so don't drink it, and mosquitoes can come in through the bathroom window. It may work if you have an evening safari and a very late or early train the next day. Keep the windows shut.

There are several rooms on the ground floor that can be booked separately for an additional charge. The building also has a large hall downstairs, with two dressing rooms with attached bathrooms and two shared bathrooms in the hall. It's a good lawn or hotel, but there is no parking.

This is a very ordinary hotel in Umaria, about a 500m walk from the railway station. Bandhavgarh National Park is approximately 33km away, so don't expect much beyond the convenient location near the bus stand and station. It's an option if you arrive late in Umaria or can't get to Bandhavgarh or Tala Gate that day. You can hire an auto to visit the park. The rooms and toilets aren't well maintained. It might suit male bachelor or solo travelers, but I wouldn't recommend it for families.

It's a nice hotel near Umaria's bus stand and railway station, useful if you get there late in the evening or can't make it to Bandhavgarh or Tala that day. Just be aware it is in Umaria, approximately 35km from Bandhavgarh National Park.
