Hotel Furatt International

A friend suggested this hotel, and it was easy to find near Baroda Railway station. You can walk there from the station. The room was clean and neat, with extra space, and the king size bed looked really attractive. The washroom was very clean too. Overall, a comfortable stay.

ACCEPTS FOREIGNERS! More than 10 hotels in Baroda turned me away, saying they couldn't accept foreigners. Here, I was allowed to check in early, and manager Mehul Shah was friendly, courteous, and professional. He helped me plan my trip here and to Champaner-Pavagadh. The price is above a typical backpacker budget, but reasonable. My room was clean, the bed comfortable, and it had aircon, a desk, coffee table, and comfortable chairs. It's a 10 minute walk from the train station and a little less than 20 minute walk from the main bus station. Breakfast is included, and dinner is available here. A good option for foreigners in Baroda. I'm grateful I found it!

The stay was very good, with quick service and polite staff. It's a budget hotel in a prime location, with basic amenities, clean rooms, a dining facility, and complimentary breakfast. The washroom is a bit too small, though the rest felt spacious. There are good corporate discounts, so I'd recommend it to corporate friends who travel to Vadodara frequently and want a clean, hygienic room at a budget price.

The approach road is smooth and doesn't have much traffic, and the hotel is close enough to the railway station to walk there. Rooms were quite neat and clean. Good choice for travellers looking for accommodation at a reasonable price.
