Hotel Shiv Inn

I appreciated that the manager told me in advance that breakfast wasn’t included, and Mr. Virendra gave excellent support at check-in and check-out. I stayed one night in Room 415 at Hotel Shiv Inn, Vadodara. The hotel is on the fourth floor, has lift access, and around 10-12 rooms. It’s almost within walking distance of the airport, which makes it handy for an overnight stop, but I wouldn’t choose it for a longer stay. The room was standard in size, with a towel, soap, shampoo sachet, and RO water. There was a TV, but the cable didn’t work. The AC cooled strongly, though it took about 10 minutes to start, often switched to fan mode, and had no remote. The washroom looked unpleasant and wasn’t clean, with stains, and the water tasted salty when brushing or bathing. For ₹1,500 per night, an early check-in and late check-out cost an extra ₹500, which seemed fair. Be cautious about overly positive Google reviews.
