Hotel Tulsi

I paid for a three-day stay upfront, then had to extend by one day because of flight issues. As a woman travelling alone, I checked twice with the staff to make sure the extension was arranged, and both times they said yes. But around noon on the third day, they politely told me to leave. When I questioned them, they acted as if I was the one causing trouble. I explained that finding somewhere else at the last minute as a single woman would be difficult, and they sent me to Hotel Rainbow, a place even their own staff knew wasn't suitable for a woman new to Vadodara travelling alone. I had also been told different things by different staff: one person promised help, while another made sure the service was denied. The room they showed on Google wasn't what I got, and the rooms were dusty and never clean. The toilet was awful, and the restaurant stayed closed the whole time. I was supposed to stay three days, with the extra day agreed to, but the way they handled it left me with a terrible experience. There are plenty of other hotels that work on good faith. I wouldn't recommend this one.

I booked one night through Agoda for a colleague at my company. The hotel staff were very rude and said they would only give the room after noon. A really bad experience with both Agoda and Hotel Tulsi.

A comfortable, reasonably priced stay with decent staff. There's also a dining restaurant.

The staff were so friendly and nice. The breakfast was really tasty, you should try it.
