The food, music, and service were all A1. We first tried breakfast and were pleasantly surprised to find such good paratha in Goa. We came back for dinner and loved the white sauce pasta, soup, and prawn masala. This restaurant on the streets of Vagator Beach deserves more attention.

I’ve known this place for a long time, and this was my second visit to its budget and traveller-friendly restaurant. The rooftop setting is calm and convenient, and the food tastes great. I’m disappointed they switched from the earlier mattresses to tables. It would be great if they stayed open past 11 pm.

The meal was great, and we could pay by card. We started with vegetable pakora to share, then I had mackerel recheado while my husband chose vegetable xacuti. We also split jeera rice, roti and onion kulcha. A large bottle of beer was 160 rupees, which was cheap. We sat downstairs, where the guest house reception is, though there’s an upstairs dining area too. It could be hard to get someone’s attention at times, but the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

I’ve stayed at Sunita almost four times in a row, and Nanda & Sathya are such warm, welcoming hosts. The staff are really nice, and the food is tasty and reasonably priced. The beach and all the party spots are within walking distance. Definitely recommend staying here, you won’t regret it.
