A terrible place to stay. The toilet is so small you can’t stand inside, and the TV didn’t work because it hadn’t been recharged. There was no response or service. You can find good stays nearby at the same price, so don’t book this one online. Go there and look around.
We had a fantastic stay at "PAVIN HOME STAY" in Valparai. The staff made us feel welcome from check-in and were attentive throughout. Our room was spacious, very clean, and had beautiful views, and the bed was comfortable enough for a restful night. We especially enjoyed the food, with its tasty local choices. It’s well placed for visiting Valparai’s attractions while still feeling peaceful. Highly recommend it for a memorable stay!(J)
The tea estate view was beautiful, the room was clean and tidy, and the staff were very humble.
This is a clean, spacious room at a good budget price, and the view is really nice. The only issue I had was cockroaches in the washroom at night. Keeping the bathroom door shut and the lights on helped get rid of them. It seems related to the location, and by morning there were no insects or other problems.
On 02-05-2025, I checked in at 2:00 PM and found the room in very poor condition. It smelled bad, the flush didn’t work, and the bathroom was unhygienic. The blankets looked used and clearly hadn’t been washed. Charging ₹2000 per day for this standard is unacceptable. Wi-Fi was listed as an amenity, but there wasn’t any. The whole experience felt like a scam, and I strongly advise people to avoid this place.
