Hotel Dwarkesh Inn

We were very disappointed by the service and hygiene. The room wasn't cleaned properly. In Room No. 124, the TV wasn't working when we arrived, and its cable was already disconnected. When we asked staff to fix it the next day, they said the screen was damaged from inside, with the glass broken. The manager blamed us and said our child had caused it, which was completely unfair given that it hadn't worked from the first day. Very unprofessional. I'd advise future guests to check everything in the room and report problems immediately to avoid being blamed later.

The room was dirty, with dust everywhere, and the photos I shared show its actual condition. Dwarkesh Inn at Vapi looked completely different from the pictures on Google, which seemed posted just to attract people. The staff were arrogant, the AC didn't work, and the walls were in poor condition. It's far inside from the main road, down a very dark road, and I got a negative feeling as soon as I entered. It felt almost haunted. We'd booked three days, but after what we experienced, we left the room the next day and moved to another hotel. I wouldn't recommend anyone book this place.

The rooms have a negative vibe, as though there's a negative soul around. My friends and I initially ignored the feeling, but after one night we quickly left. It was a stay we won't forget, if only as a mistake not to repeat. For me and my friends, this was a no-stay hotel. The pictures of the hotel and rooms on Google shouldn't be trusted. The rooms have cockroaches, moldy walls, and cigarette ash in the cabinets and drawers; the ash tray provided hasn't been cleaned, so the staff have to be asked to clean it. Service effectively stops once they hand over the key. The rooms stayed dirty even after we pointed it out, reminded the staff, and followed up. They seemed unconcerned about hygiene, and basic bathroom items like hand wash and a towel were missing. The hotel is beside the main road in the GIDC area. They say it's central for travel to Daman and Silvassa (Dadra and Nagar Haveli), but while Silvassa is nearby, Daman is a bit far.

The rooms are large enough for three beds and a sofa, there's a lift, and a machine provides free filtered drinking water. Towels and soap aren't supplied unless you specifically ask. I was stuck here after visiting Daman on New Year, and it was 16km away. I had my own car, so that wasn't a problem. The area is very dusty and noisy because of the location, but it's handy if you need an auto or bus. The hotel is quite old, poorly maintained, and unhygienic. The toilet seat and shower were broken, and there were cockroaches. I had to ask several times to get these issues fixed. Room service depends on your luck and the server's mood: sometimes it's quick, other times it never comes. Still, it gives you value for what you pay. I'd avoid it with family, though it may be an option on a tight budget.
