I stayed in 506 at this budget hotel near shivala chauk. The room was okay and had running hot water, but there were no basics like a towel, soap, shampoo, or electric kettle. There's no kitchen or restaurant in the hotel, so things like tea and coffee come from street vendors. If you're after a low-budget place, it works.

We arrived with family around 8.30 am for a booking made through make my trip almost 15 days earlier and already paid in full. The hotel kept us waiting until noon before the manager told us to call make my trip and cancel. I had to contact the local police to get the situation resolved. A horrible experience, truly.

The owner was awful and misled us about the room price. Nobody told us when assigning the rooms that AC would cost extra. They'd already charged us 2000 a day, which can't be the price for a Non AC room. Such a shocking cheat. I don't recommend it.

They charged me 1800 for a 24 hr room, and it was filthy, including the bathroom. The staff were pathetic and didn't know how to speak to customers. They never mentioned extra hour charges at checkout, then demanded more money and spoke rudely. I refused to pay, and they started fighting with me and abused my friend and me.
