Travelling with celiac disease and severe food intolerances can be stressful, but the team at BrijRama made it possible for me to relax and enjoy Varanasi. Before I arrived, Chef Satya Prakash and his team had been briefed and trained on my restrictions and the need to prevent cross-contamination. They used a separate kitchen workspace for my meals, handled ingredients carefully, and kept everyone in sync. Mr. Bhupesh Ray, the F&B Manager, and Chef Satya Prakash were especially kind and professional. Despite all the ingredients I couldn't have, Chef Satya Prakash made fresh, delicious meals with real thought and care. I never felt I was missing out, and photos can't quite capture the flavour of each dish. My favourite was the tofu dish he made especially for me. It's rare to find a hotel that understands food allergies and celiac disease and carries out the needed precautions so smoothly. I'm grateful to the whole BrijRama team for making me feel safe, valued, and cared for. I'd highly recommend this beautiful property, especially to people with complex dietary needs or food allergies.

Shivaji's culinary walk through Kashi's hidden lanes was a highlight. What began as a food walk turned into a lovely exploration of history, culture, spirituality, and conversation. His warmth, storytelling, and passion for Varanasi made it unforgettable, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the city's real soul. The stay at BrijRama Palace was just as memorable. Waking up to the Ganges, temple bells, and Kashi's spiritual energy was magical. The rooms were beautiful, and the hospitality felt personal and thoughtful, with every staff member welcoming us kindly. Even the boatsmen brought warmth and authenticity to our moments on the Ganges.

Staying each night felt like a blessing, thanks to staff who treated us like family and were so attentive and caring. The palace sits in the heart of Varanasi, and its history and authenticity show in every corner. We were so grateful for our guide Ashutosh, who was knowledgeable, kind-hearted, and professional, and for Fahad & Ali, who were sweet, thoughtful, and attentive. A friend recommended Darbhanga Restaurant Brijama Palace for lunch, and the interior immediately made it feel like stepping back into another time. The staff were amazingly attentive and the service was spot on. The charming chef Arit brought fabulous soup to our table, then later surprised us with a carrot dessert that was just as impressive.
