Dormtales Hostel is conveniently located for getting around to local sights and public transport. I found the dorm room clean and looked after, with a comfortable bed and enough room to store my things. The curtains around the beds gave a welcome bit of privacy, and the bathrooms stayed clean without much of a wait. There are fun events, friendly staff, and a social feel, plus cozy rooms that suit a budget trip. It worked well for comfort and meeting people, and I’d recommend Dormtales Hostel to anyone visiting Varanasi.

I had a fantastic, comfortable stay at Dormtales. As a solo traveler, I was nervous about safety at first, but the pleasant, safe neighborhood and central location put me at ease and made it easy to explore. The place is clean and cozy, and I enjoyed spending time in the lively common area and lovely patio. The host and her mom were warm and helped with my itinerary and local suggestions.

Dormtales was a comfortable, peaceful place to stay, and the rates were budget-friendly. I spent two days there during Dev Diwali, and it felt like being at home. The property is in a quiet residential area and is clean and well cared for. Muskan is a kind, welcoming owner who was always ready to help. The rooms were spotless and neatly arranged, and the common area was a nice place to unwind and meet other travelers. Her mom's cooking added a personal, heartwarming touch, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend Dormtales for its comfort, hospitality, and homely feel. Thank you, Muskan.

Dormtales is clean, affordable, and especially good for students. The people there are so welcoming, and they arranged a ride for us at a very reasonable price, which made getting around easy. I also made some great friends and found it a good place to meet like-minded people. I’d recommend it for a friendly, comfortable stay on a budget.

I spent about two weeks here and had a great time. It feels homely and calmer than other hostels, and the place is clean, tidy, and clearly well maintained. The owner and staff became friends during my longer stay. Muskan is a young woman doing an incredible job running the place. Unfortunately, I saw some male guests from India react with jealousy and disrespect toward a young independent woman doing well, and leave fake reviews to make themselves feel better. Keep that in mind if you come across bad reviews. I’d gladly come back. I can recommend it to mature, respectful guests who are mindful of shared hostel spaces. I think foreigners especially will appreciate the quality of service here.
