Room 19 was amazing, with a view of the Ganga river, and the place has a lovely rustic decor. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and accommodating. Those balconies are great for sitting quietly or meditating. Rooms are hard to get because space is limited. I wish I'd stayed longer.

It's a very cheap guest house, and the owner is welcoming and a nice human being. The big draw is the location, close to Assi Ghat and therefore very near the holy river Ganga.

I really enjoyed staying here. The manager was friendly and helpful, and it's an economical place, especially if you're visiting Varanasi and want to be near the famous Assi Ghat. Good value for money.
