Hotel Imperial Kashi

Right in the city center, it was easy to get around for sightseeing. The staff were friendly and helpful from the minute we arrived, and our room was spotless, stylish, and comfortable. There was a great variety of options. We had a wonderful stay, would recommend the hotel, and plan to come back.

I booked directly and paid a heavy price, with the full amount demanded before check-in. I expected a clean, comfortable stay, but the experience was disappointing and, frankly, unhealthy. The staff's attitude and behavior were very bad, and they didn't show even basic manners toward customers. The main problem was the hygiene. The mattresses and blankets looked presentable at first, but when I checked more closely, they were infested with insects, including bed bugs. The drawers were visibly dirty, and a foul smell filled the room, making it uninhabitable. Basic items and service were missing too. There were no towels, even after I asked several times, and no soap, bucket, toiletries, or tissues. They also didn't provide or offer an electric kettle or tea and coffee facilities, despite repeated requests. The room quality and lack of service didn't match what I paid. Because of the insects and smell, I'd advise future travelers to avoid the property. The stay was a waste of money and a very bad experience.

The location was nice, about a five-minute walk from Harischandra Ghat and 1.6 km from Dashaswamedh Ghat and Viswanath Temple. My room was clean and spacious.

Even though I had a valid booking for my friend, the staff wouldn't let me wait in the lounge while my friend changed clothes. They shouted at me rudely in public, with no manners or professionalism. Being treated that way was humiliating and disrespectful, and showed a complete lack of hospitality. Absolutely unacceptable.
