The rooms had lizards and mice, and there were ants on the bedsheets. Kashi Vishwanath temple and the ghats were close enough to walk to, but the homestay itself was in a very congested, dirty, unpleasant area. Basic facilities were available, though the overall stay was only average.

Getting around was easy because Madhavi Homestay is close to Ghadhulia Chowk and the auto stand. I also felt safe there, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and looked after. The host was kind, very polite, and always helpful, with a welcoming way that made the place feel like home. It's a peaceful spot with good hospitality, and I'd recommend it for a secure and convenient stay.

Ankit Rastogi took me to a doctor when I was feeling ill, which I really appreciated. The place itself is cozy and close to all the temples. It was a nice stay, thank you.

The staff were cooperative and behaved very well, and I felt it was safe for women traveling alone as well as families. The rooms were clean and the location was ideal, near the market and close to Kashi Viswanath temple and Kal Bhairav temple.

Mr Ankit, the hotel manager, was welcoming and friendly. He helped with transport and booking a boat, and gave us useful guidance for planning our visits around Varanasi. The rooms were neat, clean, and well maintained, and the homestay worked well for our family. We could walk to all the temples from its location. The AC worked fine, though there was no lift and we had trouble with the hot water. I'd recommend Madhavi Homestay to families.
