The food is vegetarian, but it wasn’t tasty and was very spicy. Housekeeping didn’t answer the phone, so I had to keep asking reception for help. The washrooms are so cramped you can’t stretch your arms, and only a few toiletries are provided, so bring your own. Location is the hotel’s only real plus. Choose it for that, but skip it if comfort matters.

Auto rickshaws are available at the hotel entrance around the clock, though it’s best to bargain over the fare. The Ganga Ghat is under a 20-minute walk away, but that could be difficult if you have seniors with you. The hotel has a few parking spots, and it would be nice if they also offered comfortable lodging for cab drivers. Our stay at Hotel Broadway was pleasant. The property was clean, the service was good, and reception and service staff were readily available and quick to respond to requests for replenishments. There was hot water in the bathrooms, which matters in this area during winter. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices and the food was enjoyable.

Being close to Assi Ghat made it easier to catch the Ganga ghat Aarti. I was very satisfied with my stay. Breakfast was amazing, and every staff member was hospitable, humble and helpful. The restaurant staff gave great service and accommodated requests.

The meals were superb, with every dish delicious and well prepared. Staff were attentive and really helpful throughout my stay. I had a wonderful time here and highly recommend it.

The location is good, parking is available, and toiletries were provided. Be careful when booking, though. We reserved club royal rooms but were given superior rooms instead. They said no club room was vacant and promised to change us the next day. Their rates are also higher on MMT and Goibibo. They’re cheats.
