The hotel is a long way from the temple, so it may be better to pay more for somewhere nearby, since transport adds to the cost. I stayed two or three days and had a horrible experience. The AC was damaged and leaked, leaving the whole floor wet. The owner and staff were unprofessional, and we got no service: no drinking water, glasses, towel, Wi-Fi, or AC remote. Staff behaved irresponsibly. I called Goibibo, but OYO executives answered each time. They said a 25% refund for the missing Wi-Fi had been initiated, but I still hadn't received it. I got the impression the hotel was mainly for local unmarried couples looking for fun; if that's what you're after, you could explore it. Otherwise, I'd avoid the property.

The hotel was very clean, the staff behaved well, and the room service was good. A great-value stay in Banaras.
