The rooms we received were nothing like the listing. I had booked two “Budget Double Rooms,” advertised as 10.22 sq meters with a balcony and city view, but we were put in tiny, windowless, airless rooms that looked nothing like the photos and seemed half the advertised size. I arrived at 7:00 AM and was made to wait while the hotel refused to provide the rooms I'd paid for. Staff then told the Booking.com support agent that I had checked in at 12:00 PM, which I believe was a lie to cover what happened. After that, they demanded an extra ₹500 cash to let us stay in the downgraded room for two hours while we searched for another hotel. I believe this was extortion and illegal under the Consumer Protection Act. The listing photos don't exist at the property, and I wouldn't trust the high rating. Check the real reviews on Google, where many other travelers describe being scammed the same way. This ruined my trip, and I lost 4 hours of my vacation dealing with it. Avoid at all costs.
