Sri Madhav Stay

The area around the property didn't feel safe or comfortable, especially for women travelers, which made the stay even more unpleasant. The room we got also looked nothing like the listing photos, which showed a much better place. We asked for a room with a window because the pictures showed windows, but staff said none were available. When we tried to sort it out, staff said they didn't have the owner's number and sent us to Agoda. Agoda then told us to speak to the property owner, and the property itself responded during that process. That made it clear to us the staff hadn't been honest. The experience felt misleading and unprofessional. The photos should match the actual rooms, and guests should get proper help. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone expecting the room pictured online or a comfortable, safe stay.

At check-in, the room hadn't been cleaned beforehand. We found an ashtray, hair strands, and dirty bedsheets. There was no proper service either. They had two children handling everything under the name of manager, and they couldn't manage things properly.

Such a lovely place to stay, very close to all the ghats. The person there was very good and polite. A must visit.

The location works well if you're visiting temples or waiting for a connecting train and just need a bed and bathroom for a short stay. It's good value for that. The station trip can take anywhere from 20 to 45 minutes depending heavily on traffic. Rooms have AC and comfortable beds, but there's no Wi-Fi at all, not even for an extra fee. No toiletries are provided, which is fair for the price. Room service staff are few, sometimes just one person at the desk and often nobody there.
