Taj Ganges, Varanasi

Aayush and Mr. Tandon led the team with real care, and the food and service made our stay memorable. I was pleasantly surprised by the international options, which tasted authentic. Thanks to Ashish, Deepak, Manoj, supriti, and parul, and to everyone else who helped create such happy memories. I also appreciated the thoughtful effort to empower people with different abilities. It left us feeling so happy and whole. We'll definitely be back soon.

The rooms and interiors feel dated and pretty average, especially for the premium price. This Taj property really needs a major refresh to meet the expectations that come with its rates. Still, the staff are warm, attentive, and caring, and the service is impeccable. The location also works well for getting around Varanasi's heavy traffic, with easy access and a peaceful compound. The food is too good. The team and setting carry the experience, and updated rooms would make it much better.

We were in Varanasi for our anniversary, and people from across the hotel, including the front desk, In Room Dining, and Room Service, surprised us more than once. Special thanks to Manya, Pem, Pandey Ji, Prachi, Aayush, Owais, Riki, and Punam. The staff and service are the real beauty here. The hotel itself seems dated, but that was fine with us. We'll definitely visit again.

The green lawns were a peaceful spot for a walk, and the staff were very courteous, as they always are at Taj Hotels. We came mainly for a temple pilgrimage, so the hotel was somewhere to stay between visits. Check-in gets crowded and the wait can stretch, so patience is needed. The coffee shop stays busy with people coming and going, so arriving early for meals may help you find a quieter moment. I wasn't impressed by the food this time. Taj usually serves great food, but this visit fell short. The buffet spread may have been limited because of the LPG shortage.
