Everyone was genuinely caring, kind, and ready to help. The rest house was clean and well maintained, and the rooms were tidy. Hygiene clearly mattered here.

The owner seemed very trustworthy, so I felt safe and relaxed the whole time. It was a really comfortable stay, with working hot water and hardly any mosquitoes, even though I'd been concerned about them. Finding the place was a little difficult.

The staff were friendly and really helpful, and we had a great time at the Rest House in Varanassi. It was clean, and there was hot water for showers. The apartment also had a great rooftop with a lovely view over the gath and the Ganges. The rooms are close to the gaths and some vibrant food and shopping streets.

The location worked really well for us, near the river and plenty of good cafes and restaurants, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The room cleanliness needs attention, though. They only supplied a fleece blanket that looked like it hadn’t been washed in a long time. We asked for a sheet and got one promptly. Please add covers that can be washed and changed between guests.
