Dhanagiri Home Stay

The home-cooked Keralan food was divine, and the coffee was fantastic. Renju and the team made our stay perfect. Dhanagiri is peaceful and beautiful, with cosy cottages and balcony views that felt like heaven. I loved sitting there listening to the birds, and swimming at night under the stars among the coffee plants was really special. Three weeks later, I still think about it. One of the most wonderful places we’ve stayed, truly unique.

Though we stayed just one night in the heritage bungalow with family and friends, it felt like a deeply relaxing week by the time we left. The peaceful atmosphere and delicious food made the stay feel thoughtfully put together. Mr. Renju, the manager, made sure we had what we needed. Near closing time, the staff even cleaned the pool at the last minute so we could take a quick dip. The next day, they kindly cut a pineapple for us to take along. The warmth and care made it feel like the homestay its name promises.

I’d planned to stay at Dhanagiri for one night, but ended up spending several days there. Set among coffee plants, it was a blissful place to stay, and the food was absolutely delicious. The coffee was great too. Renju, Sudha, and the whole team were exceptionally friendly and gave perfect service, which made this beautiful home and farmstay a highlight of my time in Kerala. A big shout-out to Memories Tours for suggesting Dhanagiri. If you need a car and driver to explore Wayanad or go further, their team is the best. Heartfelt thanks to Renju and everyone. I can’t recommend this gem highly enough.

Every meal felt like a generous home-cooked feast, prepared with love and care. The hosts were welcoming, attentive, and clearly wanted to make our stay memorable. The homestay had a warm, cozy atmosphere surrounded by greenery and coffee plantations, just right for unwinding. We recently stayed here, and it exceeded our expectations.
