The Sanihara Hotel & Resort

A beautifully kept park and a really nice pool are among the amenities here, though the pool can get crowded since the hotel is popular and often full. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with affordable prices that feel like good value. Right on the main road, the property is easy to reach and close to plenty of good restaurants, as well as a handy base for nearby attractions. Recommended for a convenient, budget-friendly getaway.

The calm atmosphere and natural surroundings made for a peaceful, relaxing stay at Sanihara Resort, Vythiri, Wayanad. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and good quality. Staff were kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile, and the whole team made us feel comfortable. We had a memorable visit and hope to return soon. Highly recommended for a trip to Wayanad.

We had a family holiday at The Sanihara Hotel & Resort, and the children loved the well-kept pool and play area. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the garden and indoor games gave us more to enjoy. Lakkidi was handy for trips to Pookode Lake and nearby viewpoints. But in Wayanad's cool weather, having no hot water was a serious problem. We raised it with staff several times and got neither a quick repair nor another option, like hot water in buckets or a room change. It made for a cold morning with no warm shower and no help from the team, which took a lot away from an otherwise pleasant family stay. For a resort of this caliber, basic service and staff initiative need to be much better.

The rooms were spacious and in good condition, and the stay felt worth the money. I'd rate it 7 out of 10. The pool wasn't that great and needs to be kept cleaner. They should also replace a few things, like the bedspread, which seemed to have been turned over so guests wouldn't notice it. Customer service, the activities, the pool, and some parts of the rooms all need more attention.
