Wayanad Mace Mansion

We spent three days here for a friend’s birthday, five girls in the group, and had a lovely time. The food was tasty and portions were good. Staff were friendly and the service was much appreciated. The whole place is impressively maintained, with indoor and outdoor play areas that make it suitable for kids too. We’d recommend it for a staycation.

We had a memorable vacation at Mace Mansion, probably the best option in the area. It works especially well for groups of six or more, and is kid-friendly. There are only a few rooms in the large mansion, plus a big gym and a well-maintained pool. The food was tasty and worth the money, though choices are limited and based on pre-order. Staff were supportive and can arrange things if you let them know what you need. The washrooms are a little small, which may disappoint some, but they do the job. The mansion is beautiful and very well maintained. We loved everything.

The quiet is striking, with birds and cicadas at night instead of city noise. The rooms come in Pepper, Coffee, and Cardamom styles, with king or queen beds, AC options, and artistic interiors. Facilities include an infinity pool overlooking the forest, a fitness centre, Ayurveda treatments, and an outdoor fireplace. Food was another highlight: fresh vegetables and spices from their own farm went into home-cooked dishes, and the chefs tried to accommodate preferences and dietary requests. Recent guests rated it 9.5. With stay, food, and accommodation all delivering, it seems suited to family trips, romantic breaks, or group celebrations. Highly recommended.
