Hotel Aavanaa Inn

There were cockroaches all over the room and lobby. The rooms themselves were shabby and dirty.

The friendly staff and being close to CMC were the good parts of our one-night visit. The lobby and outside were maintained well, though the hotel itself felt dated and the rooms were very old. There was a serious roach and water bug problem: at night, I opened the bathroom door and found it full of bugs, which was disgusting. I also saw them in the dining area. It costs about half as much as Radisson, but for me the cleanliness problems weren't worth the savings.

Breakfast was good, but at over 3000 for one night with breakfast for three, the room should have been clean. Basic hygiene was maintained, though there were some cockroaches too. At that price, it wasn't worth it.

My stay at Hotel Aavanaa Inn was awful. The room was filthy, the sheets stained, and there was a strong bad smell. The bathroom was in poor shape, the flush didn't work, and there was no hot water. The noise was unbearable, so I couldn't rest. I wouldn't recommend staying here. I did make a mild comment and complain about the housekeeping. They seemed to take it positively and said they'd provide better service next time. Maybe to appease me, they reduced the bill by 10%. I passed that amount on to the security staff, who were reasonably well behaved and courteous.
