Prince Residency by OYO Rooms

The reception desk is inside a bakery, right in the middle of a noisy market with cows and crowds, and there isn’t even a basic place to park a bike. The staff were rude and had no common sense. A splendid stay, if you enjoy feeling like you’re in a slum. Don’t book if you want safe accommodation.

The rooms are good for the low price, and the owner is nice. But one staff member behaved very badly, so that’s why my rating is low. For four or five days, the staff didn’t change the bedsheet or clean the room and bathroom. The owner should replace that staff member or tell them to speak politely and take responsibility.

There’s no parking, even for bikes, so you’ll have to leave yours at the bus stand bike stands. The rooms are nice, and it’s convenient for people arriving by bus who want a decent room near the bus stand. Just avoid the night-shift staff, whose behaviour was the worst.

I booked through OYO two months ahead, but when I arrived they said the booking was a spot booking and wouldn’t provide an AC room unless I paid extra. During my six-day stay, nobody came to clean the room or change the bedsheets. One of the worst places for service.
