From the street the hotel looks cool and high class, but the rooms inside are filthy and feel like a slum. There were mosquitoes and cockroaches everywhere, and the upkeep was unhealthy. I wouldn’t recommend staying even for a few hours. The price makes no sense for a place like this, it feels like a rip-off of tourists. I’m surprised there aren’t government standards for hotels in a city as big as Vijaywada. Sad.
It looks old, but for the price it’s nice. A good hotel with plenty of rooms and service.
The pictures seem to have been taken with bright lighting, so don’t rely on them. The rooms are dark and dull, with mosquitoes around. Some ceiling lights don’t work, and the mirrors are in poor shape.
We paid 1550/-, but the room really wasn’t worth it. Dust and cockroaches were everywhere, including on the furniture and in the cupboards. The fan made horrible noises, and once switched off, neither the AC nor the TV would turn back on. They didn’t even provide basic things like a free water bottle or soap. When we asked for water, they wanted money, and charged ₹5/- above MRP per bottle. We gave ₹100/- expecting ₹80/- back for one bottle. The room boy said it cost ₹25/- and that he didn’t have ₹75/- in change, so he’d bring tea or coffee in the morning. We agreed. In the morning he brought just one coffee, and when we asked for the rest of the money, he said it had been settled, meaning he’d bought a coffee for ₹75/- from a local street vendor. That was unreasonable. He even waited for a tip when we were leaving. I wouldn’t advise anyone to stay here.
There was a bad smell, insects roaming around, and the washroom was awful. They took the charges, but the place wasn’t clean. The hotel really needs better maintenance. Such a bad experience.
