World Inn

I enjoyed my stay at The World Inn in Vizag. The rooms are modern and spacious, and the place is kept impeccably clean. Staff were courteous and helpful throughout. It’s comfortable, well maintained, and affordable, with excellent value for money.

I regretted booking this hotel after seeing the condition of the Mumbai-themed rooms on the 4th floor. They were extremely dirty, and I’d already had doubts from reading the reviews. The booking showed different room options, but our room was changed later. Some of the other things also left me feeling uneasy about privacy and safety. When we went to the lift lobby to collect outside food, without giving our room number, a male staff member insisted that we disclose it. At reception, they took a photo and said it was for app verification, but this hadn’t been mentioned when booking. We had already provided our IDs, which I think should have been enough. There was also an Alexa device in the room, which shouldn’t be mandatory and raised privacy concerns for me. The female staff were polite and well behaved. Other problems have already been mentioned by many reviewers. A review should be based on the stay itself, not just the booking name. People stay with family or friends, and anyone who actually stayed at the hotel has the right to review it, even if someone else made the booking.

We spent 4 nights and 5 days at Hotel World inn Vizag with our family, and it was a wonderful stay. The hotel is hygienic, beautifully decorated, and has all the basic luxury amenities. Staff behaviour was really appreciable, and the hospitality is hard to put into words. It’s budget friendly too, with beaches accessible from its spot in the heart of the city. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Vizag. Thank you.

A distinctive feature of World Inn is that each floor is themed around a different city, which makes the stay memorable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff polite and helpful, and everything went smoothly. It’s good value for money for business or leisure travelers visiting Visakhapatnam.
