Sterling Yercaud

The climb up all those steps to our room was our only unplanned workout 😄. We were very happy with the stay otherwise, and the kids had a wonderful time. The room and balcony look out over the whole valley, an incredible view that alone felt worth it. The hotel is also conveniently close to the main tourist attractions. Everyone was friendly and ready to help. Asit from the restaurant and the head chef were always smiling, and thoughtfully made special dishes for our toddlers without us even asking.

The off-road safari was a memorable part of our stay. Mr. Ravichandra helped arrange it, and the driver was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. The places covered were beautiful and well selected. At Sterling Yercaud, the staff were cooperative and courteous, readily taking suggestions, requests, and changes. Services were well organized, and I had a comfortable, relaxing stay.

Asit deserves a special mention for his professional, courteous help and for making sure things ran smoothly. Reva, Rabin, Sumit, and Mintu also offered prompt assistance and warm hospitality as a team. I had a great, comfortable stay at Sterling Resort. The service was very good, and staff were polite, helpful, and available whenever I needed them. Thanks to the whole team for making it pleasant. I’d love to come back and recommend it.

The balcony view was the best part of the stay, beautiful and relaxing. The room itself was comfortable and okay, but the food was average and should be better for the location and brand. I arrived a little early and got a poor, unwelcoming reception at the front desk. Apart from security and housekeeping, the hospitality from the other staff wasn’t up to standard. Sterling Holidays, Yercaud has a lot of potential because of its views and location, but the service and staff hospitality need significant improvement.
