A big no for this hotel. The staff were very bad, and Mr. Rinku at reception was rude and uncooperative. When I asked to extend my booking by one day, he wanted an unrealistic extra amount beyond the room charge. I agreed to pay it, but he kept arguing with us. Not recommended at all.

My stay was comfortable for a short trip with basic needs, and the staff's hospitality stood out. The bed was clean, the washroom was hygienic, and there was plenty of parking. The attached restaurant offers room service, and the staff there were friendly and helpful. Outside food isn't allowed, though there are dhabas and other food options nearby. Hotel Mandarin Square is on the main road along the Ambala-Chandigarh Highway in Zirakpur, Punjab, not Chandigarh. It's about 7 km from Chandigarh Airport and roughly 13 km from the city center. Facilities are basic but reasonably comfortable. I did see two small cockroaches on my room floor, which was unpleasant, so pest control could be better. I'd stay again for a short visit. Check the room when you arrive and tell staff about any issues.

After a busy day of travel, the roomy accommodation made for a comfortable place to relax. The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, which is why I think this hotel is a great choice for anyone who likes plenty of space.
