Ghasr Talaee Hotel

We spent 5 nights here. The hotel combines modern equipment with Iranian tradition, and its rooms are among the best I’ve stayed in. There’s a wide choice at a very good breakfast, and plenty of amenities, especially the pool and sauna/jacuzzi. Probably one of the best places to stay in Mashhad, and in Iran.

What stood out for me was the view and the food, though eating at the hotel cost a lot more than eating outside. It’s a nice, stylish hotel near the market and hospitals, but far from the pilgrimage site. The rooms weren’t very clean, and noise carried from neighboring rooms. There was also a lot of airplane noise.

The building is very good, but I didn’t find it very comfortable. Staff had trouble communicating in English. If possible, try to find another place to stay in Mashhad.

I’m a VIP guest here and will definitely choose this hotel when I travel to Mashhad. Room service is excellent, with food prepared and brought to your door any time of day. The massage parlour is great too; just call and ask reception, and everything is available. There’s lots for children to do, including bowling, a kindergarten, a children’s playhouse, a hair salon, a pool, and a unique cafe. The rooms are clean, service is excellent, and I haven’t found this hotel’s unique breakfast elsewhere. It also serves a complete, delicious menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel is very far from the shrine, farther than all the other hotels in Mashhad, but there’s a free shuttle at certain times. It gets very busy on special days, so book ahead. I highly recommend it.
