Andrei turned our dinner around. My son didn’t care for the lamb, and the waiter noticed, spoke with him warmly, and offered chocolate mousse instead. It made my son’s evening, and Andrei saved our family dinner with real care and professionalism. The fish of the day I ordered was fresh and delicious too. It’s rare to see such thoughtful hospitality with children. We had a wonderful meal at this lovely Borgarnes restaurant, with beautiful views and outstanding staff. Highly recommended!

The owner and waitress were funny and lovely, and we had a great time. There’s also a cute outdoor seating area right by the water. If the weather’s good, it’s very much worth a try. Fantastic restaurant!

We stayed in the Homestay, since the restaurant was closed. It’s a cozy, pleasant place right by the ocean, and check-in and check-out were very easy. Just be aware that some rooms have steep stairs.
