The common room has everything you need, and the place is right on the ring road with gas and stores just across the street. Bathrooms were very clean and the rooms were nice.

A good spot for a night while traveling, though I'd look elsewhere for a longer stay. The bunk beds were comfortable and our room was clean. The rest was okay too. The small, simple kitchen had all the basics, but there wasn't really a common room or anywhere comfortable to sit and hang out outside the dorms. The staff were very friendly.

The view was amazing, and the hostel was extremely clean. The owner was friendly too. Even though it was the cheapest option around, it still felt very expensive to me, though I guess that's Icelandic prices. There's no "Hostel" sign, so email the owner, who replies immediately, or knock on the house door shown on Google Maps.

The hosts were very accommodating. The bedrooms were comfortable and nice, and the shared living area with its kitchen and TV was pleasant too. There were two coolers and coffee was provided.

The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the common room was cozy and fully equipped. A very nice hostel.
