The staff were great, really friendly, and the front had a nice cafe. Dinner was available at the restaurant, and breakfast was a good buffet. The fresh bread and banana cake were a hit, and I especially liked the lamb soup at dinner. I stayed two nights and it suited my needs fine. My room had a clean, cabin-like feel, though the furniture was older. No fridge, but it was cold enough to keep food in the car. The shower was okay, just no spray hose. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Thank you, ROD N.Y.

We stopped in for a quick break and enjoyed it. The coffee shop was pleasant, the staff friendly, and the cappuccino and hot chocolates were nicely made. The cakes were good too.

The food was amazing, and the staff were very friendly. We stayed two nights, and it was a great spot for visiting the peninsula. The rooms were clean. I’d recommend it to everyone, thank you! :)

The cafe dinner was delicious and the best value meal of our 10-day trip. Breakfast was excellent, and the service was warm. Our beds were comfortable, and even though the room was right by the main road, traffic at night was almost nonexistent, even in peak season. We needed to open the road-facing window for fresh air, but still slept well. The bathroom ventilation could be better. I’m not sure whether ours was broken.

I only popped into the hotel while on my way somewhere else in Iceland. The man there was nice to me, and the fish and noodles were delicious. It seems worth staying.
