We didn’t stay at the guest house, just came for a horseback tour. My daughter loved it most out of everything we did during our 11 days in Iceland. Helga was fantastic and gave us plenty of her time. We picked up some great riding tips and learned a lot about Icelandic horses. Five stars.

The horse I rode was calm, very well trained, and fast, and the trainer was really kind and nice. I booked the one-hour private horseback tour and had a fun time while learning a lot. If you like horses, give it a try.

We had two lovely riding experiences here, and the horses were amazing. We came twice for sessions for our daughter, with my wife joining the second time. The owners were so friendly, and the farm itself was a pleasure to visit. The animals seemed to have a great time too. We helped feed the very hungry lambs after arriving. They clearly know what they’re doing and are great with kids. We also had an interesting conversation with the friendly owner, whose name we unfortunately forgot. We’d recommend the place and will definitely return.

The horses are in excellent shape and clearly well cared for, and all the gear looked safe and well maintained. Afterward, we had hot chocolate and heard stories about Icelandic horses and different experiences. We were ready to head out, but a sudden snowstorm rolled in after we’d saddled up, so the owners let us ride inside the fenced area instead. We still got to tölt several times, which was a special experience. The staff took plenty of time to check our safety equipment and make sure we had gloves and everything. It would have been great to ride farther out, but it was time well spent. Nobody can predict the weather!
