Our room, number four, had a lovely bedroom, a separate small sitting area, and a view of one of the volcanoes. The location made everything easy, with the ferry just minutes away and shops and restaurants right nearby. Check-in was contactless and simple, and there was free parking across the street. We loved staying here and would happily recommend it.

Room five is the biggest one, and it worked really well for our group. It has windows all around, a little kitchenette, a living room with a TV, and its own bathroom. It’s a cute place within walking distance of the port, shops, and restaurants. Just be aware that only room four also has a private bathroom; the other three rooms share one on the main floor.

We were in Mountain View room #4, which came with our own bathroom and a small kitchen corner with a coffee maker and mini fridge. The place was spotless and really cute, and the location was great. I’d recommend it to anyone.

I’m sorry we couldn’t make the visit this time, and hope we can come in the future. When the Herjolfur ferry cancelled all mainland trips that day because of the weather, Guesthouse Holl arranged a full refund for my booking. They were easy to reach, and the refund was sorted the same day. I really appreciated that.
