The outdoor deck and lawn were attractive and had furniture, and it was fun watching the owners’ chickens wander around. Their Icelandic Dogs were a real pleasure too, and the owners checked that we were comfortable with the dogs coming over. Inside, the country home was beautiful, clean, and inviting, with a well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Our family loved the whole stay. I’d book again.

The owners were friendly and helpful, and their pets were just as friendly and made the kids happy. Set just outside Selfoss, very close to road 1, the house is handy for exploring the Golden Circle and south Iceland. It sleeps eight comfortably and has all the basics covered, from linens and towels to appliances and kitchenware. There’s also a large garden with a hot tub and barbecue.

We had eight adults in the house for a week and had no issues at all. It was quiet and exceptionally clean. The hosts are lovely and happy to suggest things to see and do in Iceland. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The landlady was very helpful. The house was so peaceful and clean, with lovely rooms, a big hall, and all the furniture and kitchen things we needed.

The place was peaceful, comfortable, and clean, and the hosts were thoughtful and attentive. There were several sweet, friendly dogs and a cat around too. Highly recommended.
