The setting felt like a dream, with an amazing atmosphere and a fantastic host. As a bonus, there was excellent music from the new album. I also met some really great people in the hot spring.

I had such a good time with the host and the other guests. The room was huge and clean, and the sociable host was lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed, even sauces and seasoning. There’s a warm pool and a natural hot bath in the backyard, and it’s so beautiful there. Close to Hevrir, Myvatn, and Godafoss. There was a cat too. Highly recommend!

Oli made us feel welcome, and the property has a sweet, natural feel. It’s tucked at the end of the road, with terns all around. In the backyard, there’s a true hot pot at the hot spring, over 100 F, as well as an amazing private outdoor pool at a soothing temperature for a few short laps. I hiked up through the backyard to the alpine meadow, where I sketched and took in the view. I’m looking forward to coming back.

Haraldur was a wonderful host and made us feel at home. The house and rooms are nicely decorated, with three bedrooms and a large shared bathroom. The best part is the swimming pool and the natural SPA, around 40 degrees. It’s worth the trip!
