Guesthouse Húsid

we had a great time here. the host and her family were so welcoming and accommodating, and our room was clean and a good size. we'd love to come back, highly recommend.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and there's parking just across the road. Our cabin was clean, cozy, and made for a good night's sleep after a long travel day. We knew when booking that it didn't come with a kettle or kitchenette, so that small drawback was no surprise. It was lovely and quiet. There are chickens outside, and waking up to a rooster instead of an alarm made us laugh. We'd happily return.

The common rooms across the different parts of the accommodation are fantastic, and the scenery and location are wonderful. The food was good too. I'd definitely recommend it!

The host was kind, which was pretty much the only good part for us. Neither the regular nor vegetarian food option was very good. We didn't know our room was listed as a three-bed room, and there were six of us. They crammed in three extra beds, two made from boxes, in an already tiny space. The beds were dirty. Mine and a few others had old, dried blood on them, which was disgusting. One bed was beside the sink and got splashed with water. Another was underneath a clothing rail, so we couldn't use it. Two beds were pushed against the edges of the slanted, triangular room, and those people hit their heads several times. There was so much dust. At 5:00 a.m. a cockerel woke us, and we couldn't get back to sleep. The outside bathroom was really impractical. There was a picture of a lady over my bed. It creeped me out a little, but didn't bother me much; it scared my friend, so I took it down. The wall behind it was a different color and looked disgusting. I know that can't really be fixed, but it could be cleaned. The kettle shared among several rooms was okay, I guess. We got one digestive biscuit as a treat and were told to put it in the bag with my sandwich. It went soggy and tasted like salami. The place was close to sights, but I wouldn't recommend it.
