We came back for a second visit and made it a longer stay because the first time here was so restful. The setting is lovely, calm, and a little away from the usual tourist spots. Everything feels simple and comfortable, just right. We’ll be back again.

We spent one night in this cozy little guesthouse. The staff were really friendly, our room was comfortable and had a great view, and breakfast was simple but tasty. If you need somewhere to stay around here, I can definitely recommend it. Thanks!

There was no fridge in the room, and we received no message through the booking platform. The hosts could communicate better: even a quick note advising guests to avoid dirt road 523 and take road 518 instead, with a small detour, would have helped. Some Chinese guests were very loud and heavy-footed, went back for breakfast three times, and took food away, though that part wasn't really the hosts' fault. The room itself was large and clean, with a raised sitting area above the sleeping space. Everything was in good condition, with a kettle, coffee and tea, a private bathroom, and no trouble getting hot water. Check-in was easy, and breakfast started early enough with lots of options. The price with breakfast was within the Icelandic range, though high for the conditions.

The breakfast room has fantastic views, and breakfast itself was good. Our family room was spacious and clean, and the hotel sits in a beautiful spot. The dog was so friendly and showed us the nearby river on a short, lovely walk. The staff were very friendly too. We stayed one night.
