Húsid Guesthouse

Everything was looked after, but our room was right beside the dining area, almost as if we were in it. After staying up late to watch the northern lights, we were woken around seven by breakfast guests talking just next to the bed. I feel the owner must know this setup isn't okay. It came across as a bit of a scam to put guests in that room, and readers should know what to expect. Otherwise, the place was well arranged, and I would have rated it four or five stars.

Maybe the other rooms are better, but ours felt disappointingly bare even for the fairly low price. It was tiny and partly below ground. We could hear everything other guests said in the corridor and kitchen, and smell all the food they cooked.

My flight was cancelled after the free cancellation period for my room had passed, but the staff contacted me and said they'd accept the cancellation and give me a full refund. They were so kind to us. I wanted to share how considerate the guesthouse staff were. Thanks again!

It felt like home here, which was such a nice feeling while traveling. The place is peaceful and relaxing, welcoming, and convenient for families with kids. It's inexpensive, but doesn't look or feel cheap. I met some other guests and they were nice too. The bed was just right, the toilets were clean, and there was a fresh towel on the bed. Each room has a sink, and the curtain blocks out 99% of the sun. No annoying noise. Just perfect, and I'm really grateful 😄
