The room was already ready when we arrived before check-in, and it was clean, spacious, and well kept, with two terraces, a large bathroom, a comfortable bed, and plenty of pillows. We did find rusty water in the hairdryer holder, which seemed potentially dangerous. Reception dealt with it quickly and offered to move us, which I appreciated. The pools were a highlight. There’s an outdoor pool by the spa, with a hot tub, Finnish sauna, Turkish bath, emotional showers, ice fountain, and heated loungers. Another pool is indoors on the fourth floor, with water jets and a hydromassage area. You can get there by an outdoor path or through the hotel by stairs or elevator. I also liked the swimwear spinner for drying swimsuits quickly. We had a relaxing weekend. At first we struggled to find Hotel Aurora, but the staff were extremely kind on the phone and gave clear directions. We found a convenient parking spot behind the hotel, although the access road was a bit narrow.

The hotel is old fashioned but well maintained, very clean, comfortable, and good for kids. It’s family owned and super central. Alberto at reception was really kind and professional, though the woman at the cashier made me uncomfortable with her anxious, demotivating attitude. Lunch and dinner were tasty, and the pools were great. My one issue was that the sauna, hamam, and hydromassage were overcrowded and not always running, which led to long queues and made it harder to relax properly. I liked the stay, recommend it, and will definitely return.
