The Fabbrini's run a lovely family hotel, with clean, comfortable rooms. It made a good base for exploring the small town of Abbazia San Salvatore and the area around it. If you’re here in winter, check out the nearby mountain slopes.

It’s easy to use this hotel as a starting point for visiting Tuscan towns, driving through the hills, or seeing the mountain views. The hotel is right in the town center and has its own parking area. Staff are friendly, and the rooms are roomy and comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning, with juices, cakes and coffee. They also do lunch and dinner, and it’s nice to stop at the bar for a beer in the evening.

We had everything we needed for a one-night stop while passing through. The room was clean and comfortable, and there’s free parking on site. Breakfast was included, with coffee, juice, different kinds of brioche and other baked goods, yogurt, fruit, plus a small selection of meat and cheese.
