For a 3⭐ hotel, the service was excellent. We couldn’t make it to dinner on time because we had a Zoom meeting, but when we asked, they kindly waited until we’d finished. As expected, we were the only ones in the dining area. They changed the towels every day as well.

It’s relatively cheap and family run, and you get what you pay for.

It was the last hotel available for a tour of the Val d'Orcia. The location is fairly convenient for getting to Pienza, Montepulciano and San Quirico d'Orcia.

We’ve stayed here several times and would happily come back. The hotel is about 500 meters from the center of Abbadia San Salvatore, with parking along its street. It feels a little dated, perhaps from the 1990s, but it’s clean and works well. The food is excellent, and the staff are friendly throughout. Valentino and his wife Elsa make guests feel very welcome, and Elsa is a wonderful cook. Good value for money.
