The chef came around to introduce himself and check that everything was okay, which I appreciated. He put effort into offering different dishes each day, and most of them were delicious. The location is super convenient and the atmosphere is pleasant. Dinner, though, only starts at 19.30, which is a bit too late when you have kids, especially in a hotel full of children. Management should give that some thought. At aperitivo and the veggie buffet, people were throwing themselves at the food like animals in a cage, as if there'd be nothing left. Still, it was a pleasant stay overall, and the reception team and the breakfast and dinner stewards are lovely.

A great place in summer too, close to lots of beautiful views. A good fit if you want to eat well and then go hiking.

We didn't have a dinner reservation at our hotel, and this turned out to be a very good choice.

The best part for us was how close Hotel I Pionieri is to the slopes, about 50 meters from where they start. Inside, it feels warm and welcoming, and everything was very clean. The big entrance hall is lovely for sitting together or having an aperitif at the bar, with billiards and table football there too. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. We'd happily come back.

Dinner was a real highlight during our 6 days (5 nights), with lots of choice across starters, first courses, and mains, all made with quality ingredients and full of flavor. Breakfast was generous too. The service was spot on, and Fabrizio and Leonardo were especially courteous, attentive, and helpful. Our room was clean, and the hotel is close to the slopes. We hope to return soon. Definitely recommended.
