The common room is air-conditioned all the time, and in summer you can watch the sunrise from there. Getting around does require a car: Marina di Scoglitti is 15 min away, Vittoria 22 min, Marina di Acate 5 min, and Punta Secca 30 min. For the price, the location is great. Inside, the room was clean, with modern furnishings, a comfortable bed, coffee and pastries provided, and room to store suitcases and other things. The minibar was quiet, which you can't always count on. The bathroom is lovely and simple, with everything needed, including a hairdryer. There are 25 steps up to the rooms, though a system for disabled access is also available. The property sits among greenery, and entry is automated with a numeric keypad and combination lock. The host is easy to reach and ready to help with requests. If you have an electric car, there's a charging station under your house; ask the managers how to use it. As someone who travels a lot, I was impressed by the quality and cleanliness. This was a superb experience and a real discovery. In this part of Sicily, there aren't many places offering this level of comfort. Come here, it's sure to be a discovery.

The tastings of the estate's wines and other products were the highlight for us. Lidia and Francesco give their time generously, explaining things with smiles and welcoming questions and discussion. Their work shows real passion, care, study, and thoughtful experimentation. The quality of what they produce is impressive, especially given the competition from better-known, more sophisticated producers. It feels like an example of resilience and endurance. We also slept very well, thanks to excellent beds, pillows, and toppers, and enjoyed the splendid view. We felt completely at home.
