The trails here are a real draw for anyone who loves the mountains, and the surrounding scenery is spectacular. The hotel itself is quiet and lovely, with a cozy restaurant. We tried several local dishes and every one was ten out of ten. I had a wonderful stay.

The area is great for hiking and mountain biking. We found the rooms clean and peaceful, and the staff were well prepared and very polite. The restaurant was good too, with quality dishes. Nicely done.

The beds were good, and the service was polite. But the lake sounded like an autobahn, the food was very bad, and the wait was long.

Cristina welcomes you so warmly and attentively that you feel at home right away. The atmosphere is genuine and cozy, and the ingredients are high quality. If you're passing through alta valle Maira, don't miss this restaurant. The food is delicious, especially the raviolos valmairesi, which are a must-try.

That dinner is what made our weekend. The raw ham and ravioli with hazelnut butter were fabulous, and the whole staff stayed friendly, attentive, and helpful through a very busy evening. Breakfast was easily worthy of a 3-4 star hotel, too. We had an en suite room with a lovely balcony view, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere carried through the hotel. My girlfriend and I came for a weekend after hearing good things about Val Maira. The hotel pleasantly surprised me and exceeded our expectations. Thanks, we'll definitely return.
