The house has a top location, just two minutes from the sea and the central square. It's comfortable and, above all, cool, with air conditioning in every room. The retro setting is charming, and we appreciated the books and the owners' kindness and helpfulness. There are two bedrooms, a living room with a sofa bed, a kitchenette, one bathroom, and a laundry room with a toilet. Outside, there's a private area with a sink, plus shaded seating by the entrance. The dedicated parking spot is a three-minute walk away, in a shared, lockable lot below the hill. The two drawbacks were the slightly too-soft mattress in the main bedroom and kitchen equipment that could use an update. Recommended.

Floriana was so friendly and always had great tips for us. I love old houses with history and character, so I was delighted to find this apartment. The antique floors and high vaulted ceilings were especially lovely, and it stayed comfortable inside even during the almost 50-degree heat outside. The sea was pleasantly cool, too. The beach is mostly pebbles, but the water is crystal clear and gorgeous. Water shoes are a must, they're fantastic. The apartment is right in the heart of the small town, with two lovely, romantic courtyards guests can use. Around the corner are the sea, the lively piazza, the castle, plenty of restaurants and bars, all the grocery stores, Malto beer bar, and Viscuso bar for excellent arancini. It's also a great base for trips to the Alcantara Gorge, learning about the Mafia's history, Mount Etna, water sports, and wine tastings. Everything your heart could want. It was wonderful, thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time in this spacious, welcoming vacation home and hope to come back soon. The owners are very friendly. There are two modern, comfortable bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. With two bedrooms and beds for up to seven, it works well for families. We also loved the two shaded terraces.
