The views are phenomenal, and the area is lovely and quiet. Getting there can be a little nerve-racking because the roads are narrow and traffic moves fast. There are only two places to eat within walking distance, so I strongly recommend having your own transport. We had a great experience with the staff and housekeeping. The room and bathroom were sparkling clean each time we returned, and used towels were replaced every day. I normally hang towels up to reuse them, as that's customary in hotels where I'm from, but here fresh ones were always put out. I appreciated that. Breakfast had lots of pastries but few protein choices, and the pistachio croissants were excellent. I also loved getting to play the grand piano in the lobby. My thanks to the management!

Our room was nice and clean, though it had no tea or coffee facilities and, sadly, no balcony. The staff were nice, and there was a free shuttle bus.

We spent seven days here on holiday in Catania, Sicily, in March 2025. The room was very clean and serviced daily, and both the receptionist and breakfast staff were polite. The receptionist was also very helpful. We booked for the pool because we were traveling with two kids and four adults, but we checked in during spring and it could only be used in summer. The kids wanted to swim every day, so we kept having to tell them sorry. We chose the hotel because of its four-star rating, though in some ways it felt more like three stars. Breakfast was the same each day with just small changes to the bread and cakes. The three hot options never varied: bacon, scrambled eggs, and boiled eggs. Everything else was cold, though we still ate well. The bacon was burned twice. The breakfast staff were polite and professional. The hotel sits somewhere in the middle of the hills, with a great view from the balcony.

The hotel is a little outside the center, but there’s a pleasant 15-minute walk to restaurants near the beach, so you can eat beyond the hotel restaurant. It has a small pool for relaxing, comfortable rooms, and good-quality service. For an average hotel with these amenities and a convenient location, I’d happily recommend it.
