We spent a peaceful, harmonious week surrounded by beautiful scenery. At first we worried the nearby train station would be noisy, but it didn't bother us. Our dogs loved it, and we did too. The owner was nice, and although we didn't need advice, I'm sure he would have helped. The pool and its surroundings look great for relaxing and swimming in summer, though it was too cold for me. I would suggest replacing the plates and cutlery. And sorry about Capone chasing the cat, though I'm not sorry about the scratch on his nose. The black cat was so cute. I called him Mario. I'm not taking off a point because of the surroundings. Regards from Astrid, Peter, Malle und Al Capone.

Suasor sits among a large lemon garden, and the citrus scent and greenery made for a peaceful, distinctly Sicilian setting. The children loved the large pool, and it was a great place to relax between outings. Raffaello was a wonderful host: quick to answer questions, full of restaurant tips, and welcoming throughout. We even bought a couple of lovely bottles of wine from him one evening, which made the stay feel personal. The train station is very close, so it was easy to get around by public transport or arrive by train. There is also plenty of parking if you rent a car. With a car, Etna, Taormina, and Siracusa are only a short drive away. Just keep in mind that there are no restaurants or grocery shops within walking distance, so you'll need a car or train to go out or pick up supplies. We stayed more than a week and would have liked a broom, vacuum, or the option of a cleaning service. That's just a suggestion for longer stays. The apartment was a lovely, family-friendly base, and we'd happily return despite those practical limitations.

The host was so welcoming, and the apartment was modern and spotless. Suasor in Sicily also has a big pool with beautiful sea views. We definitely recommend it and will be back!

We had a fantastic week and would love to return. The gardens were immaculate, the pool area was wonderfully relaxing, and our hosts were always helpful when we needed advice. Our double room had everything we needed, and we made a few meals to enjoy on the terrace. Acireale, with its many restaurants and bars, is about a 10-minute drive away. Suasor is a great base for exploring Sicily's east coast.

Super clean and modern, with really friendly hosts and pets welcome. The prices are very affordable for what feels like millionaire living in California. There's a big lemon garden, a swimming pool, lovely grass, and great views of the lava flow at night near Etna. The train station is right at the door, with a great connection to Catania, about 20 minutes to the centre. The highway is handy by car too. Perfect for families, highly recommended.
